Books in English: G. Edward Griffin - One World Government and Collectivism

One World Government & Collectivism - G. Edward Griffin

Dear Friends,

I notice that you are a one of the rare young people in Vietnam who still reads and reflects on stuff going in this World. So I choose to share some of my readings for you to reflect on them.

Hope this is an eye-opening experience that might bring you some answers to the chaos you are witnessing around you. Or maybe you chose not to?!

We are all victims somehow of this situation, unless we take action to save ourselves, and people around us.

Best,

Anh Tho Andres

A brilliant work by G Edward Griffin, which deserves a place in everyone's library, living room, and in every school's curriculum.
  • What is collectivism?
  • Who desires a collectivist world?
  • How are collectivism and totalitarianism related?
  • Does a one-world government have to be collectivist, or totalitarian?
  • How does collectivism influence the thinking of individuals and governments? Where does the individual stand in such a system?
  • What about "group rights"? What does "rights" mean applied to a group?
  • What is a "U. N. Peacekeeper"? What is their purpose?
  • How does government secrecy fit into this?
  • What kind of government might come from a "North American Union"?
  • Is the One World Government a conspiracy?
  • What are the components of a real conspiracy? Where is the use of the word "conspiracy" justified?
  • What is the U. S. Constitution? What is its meaning for the American people?
  • Why is the Constitution addressed from "We the People" to the government?
  • Do legitimate governments rule, or protect?
  • Do legitimate governments use force? What about martial law?
  • What is "Cultural Marxism"? What does it have to do with collectivism?
  • Are differences in culture a cause for war?
  • What is the principle cause of war?
  • What is the "Rothschild Formula"?
  • What is the difefrence between killing and murder, as applied to war?
  • What role does fiat money play in war?
  • Why did the Founding Fathers want local militias, rather than a standing Federal army?
  • How do corporations and governments evade responsibility for their actions? How is this immunity a problem?
  • How do banks control our government? Why aren't the names of these banks and the individuals behind them known?
  • What did the "New Deal" turn out to be?

Japanese Authors: Journal d'Hiroshima (6 août - 30 septembre 1945)

Original Title: Hiroshima Diary: the journal of a Japanese Physician, August 6-September 30, 1945
Author: Michihiko Hachiya
Translation by Warner Wells, M.D C
French Title: Journal d'Hiroshima (6 août - 30 septembre 1945)
Publisher in France: Editions Tallandier. 2011
My ref: ATA-317

Nuclear facts
  • There are 16,400 nuclear weapons on Earth today, more than 20 years after the Cold War ended.
  • Five states are declared as nuclear weapon zones under the Non-Proliferation Treaty: US, UK, France, Russia and China. These countries are committed to disarmament under international law. It is illegal for any other country that has signed the NPT to develop these weapons.
  • Many other countries have been suspected of developing nuclear weapons including India, Pakistan, Israel, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syria and Korea.
  • The US has nuclear weapons deployed across Europe for use by all NATO allies, including the UK.
  • Britain has one nuclear weapon system, Trident. Trident replaced Polaris in the 1980s and consists of four submarines, each one capable of carrying 16 missiles. Each warhead on the missiles can be guided to a separate target.
  • The only nuclear bombs ever to be used were by the US against Japan. In 1945 nuclear bombs were dropped on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing and injuring hundreds of thousands of people. Today Hiroshima’s peace park attracts visitors from across the world.
  • Trident is more than 1,000 times powerful than the bomb that hit Hiroshima. Each warhead’s destructive power is measured in kilotons (kts). A kiloton is equal to 1,000 tons of TNT. The Hiroshima bomb was 16kts. Trident is far more deadly – each warhead is up to 100kts and there are 160 of them. That’s 16,000kts.

Foreign Author on Vietnam: Christopher Hitchens - The Trials of Henry Kissinger with full documentary

The Trial of Henry Kissinger (2001)

is Christopher Hitchens' examination of the alleged war crimes of Henry Kissinger, the National Security Advisor and later United States Secretary of State for Presidents Richard Nixon and PresidentGerald Ford. Acting in the role of the prosecution, Hitchens presents evidence of Kissinger's complicity in a series of alleged war crimes in Indochina, Bangladesh, Chile, Cyprus and East Timor.

Highlights from the book were serialized in Harper's Magazine in February and March 2001.
The book inspired the 2002 documentary film, The Trials of Henry Kissinger, which was co-written by Hitchens and the American writer/director, Alex Gibney. Hitchens makes an appearance in the film, being interviewed about Kissinger. The documentary also features film of Kissinger but only in archive footage.
In the words of Hitchens, Kissinger deserves prosecution "for war crimes, for crimes against humanity, and for offenses against common or customary or international law, including conspiracy to commit murder, kidnap, and torture." He further calls him "a stupendous liar with a remarkable memory."
The book takes the form of a prosecutorial document, as Hitchens limits his critique to such charges as he believes might stand up in an international court of law following precedents set at Nuremberg and elsewhere. These link Kissinger to war casualties in Vietnam, massacres in Bangladesh and Timor and assassinations in Chile, Cyprus, andWashington, D.C. Hitchens, a writer for Vanity Fair and The Nation, had a history of skewering Democrats (he is the author of a provocative book on the Clintons, No One Left to Lie To) as well as Republicans.
The book is written from an authorial position of moral outrage, and calls for Americans not to ignore Kissinger's record. In the author's words, "They can either persist in averting their gaze from the egregious impunity enjoyed by a notorious war criminal and lawbreaker, or they can become seized by the exalted standards to which they continually hold everyone else."
The book was re-issued in 2012 by Atlantic Books and Twelve Books along with two other short polemics by Hitchens,The Missionary Position, an attack on the status and celebrity of Mother Teresa, and No One Left to Lie To, a criticism of the political manoeuvring and personal character of President Bill Clinton.
